On a long shoreline of fine sand, lies the beach of Borgo Marina. Most of it is occupied by fully equipped establishments with cabins, cold or hot showers, bar-restaurant and often play areas for children. Some also offer free Wi-Fi access. However, there are also some stretches of free beach.

They are the most popular beaches of the city, especially by young people and families, and it is not uncommon to find them rather crowded, especially at weekends.

If you are travelling with your children, you will appreciate the sea here for its sloping seabedthat is, the water gradually becomes deep and touches several metres. A perfect situation for the little ones, who can play on the shore in complete safety.
